Following the success of the Skittles Cooler range, Skittles Stix is a delicious super-colourful frozen treat with layers of fruity flavoured ice cream and a secret sugar pearl centre.

The announcement comes as the UK ice cream market continues to grow, with sales in convenience reaching total value sales of £828 million. Handheld multipacks are a significant driving force in the category and now total sales are £178 million.

“We’re extremely pleased to introduce these delightful and unique ice creams for 2022, after such a great year for our handheld products," said Michelle Frost, general manager at Mars Chocolate Drinks and Treats. "Fuelled by the popularity of Skittles Cooler, we anticipate that by adding these exciting products to the freezer, it will give ice cream fans even more choice from their favourite fruity confectionery brands!”

Starburst Ice Lolly and Skittles Stix will be available in impulse and multipack format across convenience and wholesale from March.
