Mentos and Fanta team up to create new Mentos Chewy Candy

Leading confectioner Perfetti Van Melle is excited to share some big news in the sweets industry: Mentos Fanta! In a unique collaboration, the two global power-brands of the candy and beverage categories are joining forces to create a new, incomparable consumer experience.

The iconic, one-of-a-kind chewy candy is meeting up with the uniquely bold and fruity taste of a Fanta Orange drink. A perfect match of two well-loved brands, both of which have a long history of delivering refreshment and fun to consumers all over the world.


The launch of this first-ever global licensing offer for the Mentos brand will occur this summer in Europe and will continue into 2023. The limited edition will excite consumers in more than 50 countries across the globe.

Mentos Fanta Orange flavour will be available in various pack formats to target different consumer occasions and to make sure that there is a Mentos Fanta candy for everyone – whether it is for on-the-go, for sharing or gifting purpose – with the iconic Mentos roll being the unmistakable hero.

The launch of this exclusive special edition will be supported globally by a strong in store activation and a dynamic and fun communication campaign.

“We can’t wait to bring this delicious new twist on Mentos to the UK. The zesty and effervescent taste of Fanta Orange combined with the famous chewy texture of Mentos is the perfect refreshing summer treat," said Mark Roberts, Marketing and Trade Marketing Director at Perfetti Van Melle UK.

“Brand mash ups always perform really well when they bridge categories, and two cult favorites coming together in this limited edition is sure to be a hit and get sales fizzing.”

Mentos Fanta Singles are launching now in Spar, BP, Shell, Booker, followed by multipacks launching in Asda at the beginning of June with further grocery stockists to be announced.

RSP is £0.51 per single roll, and £1.29 per multipack.
