Mondelēz enters ‘healthier bars’ market with nutty new launches

Mondelēz will be helping retailers expand their "Healthier Bars" range with the launch of a brand-new fruit and nut snack brand, Cadbury Nuttier. The brand’s three flavours – Peanut & Almond, Cranberry, Peanut & Almond and Coconut & Almond will be available in 40g single bars at an RRP of £1.19.

The new bars contain over 40per cent whole fruit nuts nuts, plus a hit of indulgence from Cadbury, meaning it is one of the first products within the ‘Healthier Bars’ segment to include milk chocolate.

With transparent packaging, consumers can see the combination of over fruit and nuts featuring at the top, embedded in milk chocolate at the bottom, pointing to the concept of "there are two sides to every bar", with this slogan appearing on displays and POS in-store.

Lyndsey Homer, Brand Manager for Cadbury Nuttier at Mondelēz International says: "As the nation’s favourite chocolate, Cadbury is in prime position to deliver growth for the ‘Healthier Bars’ category, catering for the growing shopper demand for snacks that are wholesome, but still deliver on taste."

The new bars will be on the shelves in January and should be ranged in the on-the-go section, near the front of store, or alongside other "healthier snacking" options to maximise impulse sales.
