Mondelēz kicks off new promotion with female footballers

Mondelēz International has unveiled a new on and off-pack promotion, offering shoppers the chance to win money-can’t-buy experiences with some of the biggest female athletes in football.

Through its Cadbury FC platform, the World Class Wins promotion will give shoppers the opportunity to score big and retailers the chance to get the ball rolling on spring and summer sales.

Running from 10 April until mid-July, the promotion will go across a range of formats including Cadbury tablets and multipacks, Cadbury Biscuits and Maynard’s Bassett’s bags.

World Class Wins 2

From Lionesses to Ballon d’Or nominees, World Class Wins ambassadors Leah Williamson, Katie McCabe, Kadeisha Buchanan and Pernille Harder are pushing the sport to new levels and inspiring the next generation of players. The promotion will offer one winner and three of their loved ones the chance to meet one of these legends, before jetting off on a family holiday of their choice worth £8,000. As well as this, the lucky winners will also receive match tickets to get to see their chosen player on-pitch in all their glory.

To enter the promotion, shoppers simply need to purchase a participating pack, enter their contact details, barcode and batch number online at worldclass.cadburyfc.com and select the world-class player they’d like to meet.

Shoppers will find out instantly if they’ve won one of the runner-up prizes, which include match tickets, signed shirts and Cadbury FC vouchers, with a focus on the world-class female athletes that influence the sport and supporters alike. For the top prize, the winners will be selected from a prize draw once the promotion ends.

Cadbury FC sees the pairing of the nation’s favourite chocolate brand with clubs up and down the country to, first and foremost, support the supporters. Acting as a partner rather than a sponsor, the initiative helps to empower the communities around the clubs, driven by the iconic glass and a half generosity that Cadbury is known for. Whether that’s gifting small and local businesses key advertising placements on the pitch or helping to build new stands for supporters to cheer on from – Cadbury FC is all about clubbing together to improve UK football for the fans.
