Moo Free Christmas free-from and vegan range arrives

Moo Free Christmas free-from and vegan range arrives

Free-from and vegan chocolate brand, Moo Free, has announced its latest Christmas line-up with two new products and returning festive favourites, which means that everyone can join in the fun.

The Moo Free Christmas range attracts a growing following each year, and has helped the award-winning, B-Corp certified, family-run free from chocolatiers deepen distribution.

The latest NPD to join Moo Free’s festive line-up is the Christmas Cracker Selection Box (£3.45 RRP) and Oscar the Bear (marbled) (£3.95 RRP). This year also sees the return of its popular advent calendars, festive themed bars and snacks, and innovative hollow shapes including its Moo Free Olivia White Chocolate Bear and Moo Free Orange Choccy Bauble. Each product is guaranteed to be free-from dairy, gluten, soya and 100% vegan.

With over a decade of experience, Moo Free’s entire range, including the Christmas items, are dairy, gluten and soya free, whilst also being suitable for vegans. Each product is made using its free from chocolate, sourced from ethical cocoa from Rainforest Alliance certified farmers. As with all Moo Free products, the range doesn’t use any single-use plastic and the packaging can be fully recycled.

Christmas Cracker Selection Box: £3.45 RRP

Presented in the shape of a Christmas Cracker, you can expect a variety of chocolate inside. From classic ‘milk’ and white chocolate Santa and Snowmen, to fizzy choc orange popping candy bars and bunnycomb filled bar with vegan-friendly “honey” comb toffee.

Oscar the Bear (Marbled): £3.95 RRP

Moo Free has elevated its popular Oscar the Bear character using a combination of its award-winning, Rainforest Alliance white and "milk" chocolate, giving it a unique marbled affect.

Moo Free don’t just focus on making free from chocolate, they also help to protect the planet by sending zero waste to landfill and support cocoa farmers by using ethically sourced Rainforest Alliance cocoa.

“Festive season celebrations can be a frustrating time if you suffer with allergies or follow a plant-based diet, but we have set out to change that," said Andrea Jessop, CEO of Moo Free. "Without compromising on taste or product quality, we have sourced the highest quality cocoa to create our delicious products that will bring excitement to everyone’s gifting and celebrations.

“As the category continues to grow, shoppers expect to see more free-from versions of standard confectionery including at Christmas and will be looking to retailers to stock broader ranges. This brings a great opportunity for retailers when it comes to chocolate for the festive season. With Moo Free, everyone can enjoy chocolate this Christmas and know they’re being sustainable too.”

Gnaw ‘new-stalgia’: pud-themed Chocolate Spoons and flavoured choc bars

Tapping into “new-stalgia” (an anticipated hot food trend in 2025), Gnaw has been working tirelessly to rethink Great British puddings by creating a number of “Hug in a Mug” classics (Crème Brulée, Bakewell Tart, Sticky Toffee Pud) in conjunction with an impressive “pudfolio” of dessert-flavoured bars: New York Cheesecake, Christmas Pudding, Banoffee Pie and Sticky Toffee Pudding.

Desserts may prove divisive. For many the last course will always be a fitting finale to a great meal spent with friends of family, enticing comfort food that offers a nostalgic peek into happy custard drenched, ice cream topped memories from yesteryear. For others, desserts are an unwitting dalliance with guilt-filled soft sponges, buttery pastry, seductively sweet fillings, crumbly toppings, sticky sauces …
