Moo Free extends best-selling Easter range with Choccy Eggsplosion

Moo Free, maker of free-from, vegan chocolate, has expanded its best-selling Easter range with the launch of its Choccy Eggsplosion Easter Egg.

With an average annual growth of 30 per cent, Moo Free’s popularity stems from its appeal to those with allergies or who are following a plant-based or vegan diet. The whole range is free from dairy, gluten and soya and tastes delicious thanks to the use of high quality, ethical chocolate.

Moo Free’s Choccy Eggsplosion Easter Egg (95g RRP: £3.50) combines delicious ‘milk’ chocolate with white chocolate, vegan marshmallows and choccy drops. Crafted in Moo Free’s dedicated free-from UK factory, each egg is guaranteed to be completely dairy free, gluten free, soya free and suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

The new Easter Egg will strengthen Moo Free’s existing Easter range which includes: Original Easter Egg, Honeycomb Easter Egg, Organic Mint Egg, Organic Sour Cherry Egg, White Easter Bunny, Milk Chocolate Orange Easter Hamster and Milk Chocolate Bunny Bars.

“Moo Free has enjoyed double digit growth for a number of reasons," commented Moo Free CEO Andrea Jessop. "Not only does it taste like the real thing, but it appeals to people following all sorts of diets, from gluten free to vegan. We have dedicated ourselves to perfecting the taste of our ethically sourced, high-quality chocolate, which is made from two types of cocoa beans. The new Choccy Eggsplosion Easter Egg is made from UTZ/Rainforest Alliance cocoa, which is the same chocolate used for our Everyday and Mini Bar range. Our Premium range uses organic cocoa sourced from the Dominican Republic, which is also used for our Organic Mint and Organic Sour Cherry Eggs.”

Gnaw ‘new-stalgia’: pud-themed Chocolate Spoons and flavoured choc bars

Tapping into “new-stalgia” (an anticipated hot food trend in 2025), Gnaw has been working tirelessly to rethink Great British puddings by creating a number of “Hug in a Mug” classics (Crème Brulée, Bakewell Tart, Sticky Toffee Pud) in conjunction with an impressive “pudfolio” of dessert-flavoured bars: New York Cheesecake, Christmas Pudding, Banoffee Pie and Sticky Toffee Pudding.

Desserts may prove divisive. For many the last course will always be a fitting finale to a great meal spent with friends of family, enticing comfort food that offers a nostalgic peek into happy custard drenched, ice cream topped memories from yesteryear. For others, desserts are an unwitting dalliance with guilt-filled soft sponges, buttery pastry, seductively sweet fillings, crumbly toppings, sticky sauces …
