Mug Shot undergoes full brand refresh

Instant hot snack Mug Shot has undergone a full brand refresh with recipe enhancements, new flavours and a complete redesign. The popular brand made the changes to drive consumption across the category, with a real focus on taste and enjoyment to help drive growth. Rolled out in January 2021, the new products are now available in-stores.

Mug Shot, manufactured by Symington’s, has extended the range by introducing new flavours such as Chicken & Mushroom Noodles and Original Curry Noodles across its sachets, On The Go pots and Mighty pots. The brand has also enhanced recipes across its top 12 flavours which has been reflected on the latest pack design with a new and improved recipe logo. The redesign has delivered a 50 per cent plastic reduction across the brand’s Mighty Pots range.

“The category is ever evolving and here at Mug Shot, it’s our job to deliver products that can hold their own in the current market," said Christine Everett, Head of Snacking at Symington’s. "With that in mind, we’ve refreshed the brand with a core focus on taste. As well as enhancing our classic flavours, we’ve introduced two new flavours into the range that we’re confident our consumers will enjoy. .”

The brand has supported Mug Shot’s relaunch with a full social media, in-store and influencer marketing campaign.
