Nisa announces 2021 Valentines pre-sell event

Love is in the air for Nisa retailers this month as they turn their thoughts to hearts and flowers for the Valentine’s Day floral pre-sell that is now underway.

The 2021 Valentine’s flowers range is available on pre-sell until the end of this week, consisting of 17 Co-op branded products, ranging from a single rose to bouquets.

To ensure full access to a range of the Co-op’s floral tributes next year, Nisa partners are now pre-ordering the bouquets and flower arrangements available, where suppliers will then plant the required number of crops.

Josie Bates, wholesale category controller at Nisa, said: “Last year we sold 6,500 cases of flowers to Nisa partners for the Valentine’s Day event. This saw a growth of more than 50% year on year and Nisa partners commented on the fantastic quality of the roses and bouquets that were available and so we expect the demand to be strong for 2021.”

Among the range on offer to Nisa retailers are all the best sellers from 2020 including a dozen red roses, the novelty bouquet featuring a bee teddy bear, the Irresistible Romance bouquet and the Velvet Passion bouquet.

Ms Bates added: “The Co-op flower range for Valentine’s Day really is fantastic and its availability to our independent Nisa partners certainly gives them the edge over the competition.

“All products are sourced from accredited growers, the hand finished bouquets are made by skilled teams, the varieties are specially selected by experienced teams with the end customer in mind and because partners select the range they require in advance, it enables them to make plans for their in-store merchandising displays.”
