Nisa launches £5 frozen meal deal

Nisa retailers are helping shoppers to feed the family for just £5 with Nisa’s latest frozen deal, offering great value on a number of branded favourites.

With food for tonight already a key shopper missions in convenience stores, and busy families looking for quick but tasty meals that can be easily prepared after school, the £5 freezer offers have become a firm favourite with shoppers.


The deal will run in stores from 26th August – 15th September and comprises four popular branded lines; Birds Eye Chicken Popstars (150g), McCain Crispy French Fries (750g) a Goodfella’s Thin Crust Margherita Pizza and Cadbury Double Decker ice cream (480ml), accompanied by Co-op Garlic Baguettes (310g), all for just £5 – a huge saving of £8.12 on the RRP.

The offer is also being promoted via the www.nisalocally.co.uk website and Nisa’s consumer-facing social media channels.

David Lunn, wholesale category controller for frozen at Nisa, said: “Our £5 frozen deals continue to be popular with shoppers looking for a simple but delicious family meal and this one provides excellent value for money at less than half the RRP.

“With many schools due to reopen over the coming weeks and Scottish students having already returned to school, this offer will help busy shoppers to stock up on some family favourites that are quick and fuss-free to prepare on a weekday evening.

“We hope this competitive offer will support Nisa partners in generating additional sales whilst providing a simple and affordable meal solution for their customers.”

Convenience store body Association of Convenience Stores (ACS) today (30) has warned the Chancellor about the negative effects of the new National Living Wage (NLW) increase, a day after the Chancellor announced a pay rise for over 3 million workers next year, with NLW rates rising by 6.7 perc cent.
