Parfetts expands fresh and chilled range

A Parfetts depot showcases its expanded fresh and chilled range, featuring over 500 lines including dairy, meats, and Go Local own-label proteins, in partnership with Eden Farm in 2025.
Wholesaler Parfetts has grown its fresh and chilled offer to include over 500 lines in depot and online, attracting 900 customers to the range.

The fast-growing wholesaler expects to more than double the number of customers over the next months, with over 2,000 customers ordering regularly. A key part of this strategy is a bespoke partnership with Eden Farm.

Retailers can access thousands of additional lines through the partnership to increase the available range. The products cater to diverse needs, including dairy, desserts, meats, and plant-based options, featuring brands like Lurpak, Alpro, and Nomadic Yoghurts. Parfetts customers also benefit from preferential delivery agreements.

The wholesaler has also launched a range of fresh protein under their Go Local own label brand, with 12 new lines designed to meet the needs of convenience retailers and customers alike. These lines are available in depots and through Eden Farm drop shipment.

Commenting on the growth, Guy Swindell, joint managing director of Parfetts, said, “We are seeing significant growth in our fresh and chilled offer.

"Retailers can benefit from a high-quality, extensive range that includes fresh meat, fruit and vegetables, all designed to offer the high margins they expect from Parfetts.

“The ability to deliver orders to their stores with a next-day service is proving popular. The team is also working hard to launch meal deals and meal for tonight options, which are coming soon.”

The employee-owned wholesaler recently announced its ninth depot in Southampton to strengthen its national footprint. The new 113,000 sq ft depot will enable Parfetts to deliver across the South Coast and into Greater London while serving cash and carry depot customers across the region.

Retailers who join the Parfetts symbol group and retail club benefit from a package designed to support their day-to-day operations and margins. There are no joining fees, and free delivery is available at low minimum order levels.

The Parfetts own label range has expanded to over 200 lines. Every product in the own-label range is designed to give retailers up to 75 per cent POR good margins, and regularly features in the busy promotional calendar.

Customers also benefit from competitive promotional pricing throughout the year, regular promotional campaigns and tailored support from retail specialists.

Swindell concluded, “Independent retailers directly benefit from the Parfetts employee-owned business model. The structure means that decisions are made with a long-term focus on sustainable growth, reinvestment, and shared success.

"As a result, more is invested in price and promotions, service improvements, and support for individual stores. A comprehensive support package helps retailers maximise sales and improve store performance, all within a business model that values fairness, transparency, and shared success.”
