Perfetti Van Melle launches Mentos and Smint brands in new formats

Confectioner Perfetti Van Melle is introducing new formats for two of its most popular brands. Mentos, one of the top global candy brands and Smint, the number one sugar-free mint, are both expanding their product ranges to include these hyper-portable formats.

Mentos is growing at 4x the rate of category growth, and research has shown strawberry and orange are among the Top Five flavours in Europe, with orange growing by 42 per cent – making this the perfect time to launch the Mentos Mini Strawberry and Orange Bag. The new Mentos Mini rolls provide the perfect 40-calorie treat and come in a variety bag that delivers value for money and sharing potential.

As Smint continues to grow faster than the mint category in all metrics, the time is ripe to introduce Smint’s new format tin. The popular mint is now available in this 36-mint format in a convenient pocket size recyclable tin, in the full range of classic beloved flavours: Mint, Spearmint, Sweetmint, and Strawberry.

Both product launches will be supported by both social media and instore activity, and the lines will be stocked in numerous discounters, cash and carries and independent stores.
