Pernod Ricard UK announce new field sales partner

Pernod Ricard UK has confirmed that ward-winning sales agency McCurrach as its new field sales partner in grocery and convenience.

The alcohol producer will deploy a mixture of agile resources throughout the year, utilising McCurrach’s EPOS analytics tool, DART, to operate data led campaigns.


A brand-new permanent convenience team will also be developed covering 1,800 stores.

James Middleton, field sales director at Pernod Ricard UK, comments: “Pernod Ricard UK chose McCurrach as our off-trade agency partner following a thorough selection process.

“We were impressed with the agility of the McCurrach model in Grocery and in-depth knowledge of the Convenience sector. We look forward to working closely to drive our off-trade business together.”

McCurrach Group CEO, Jill Ross, added: “I am delighted to announce our new partnership with Pernod Ricard UK. Parliament is to launch an inquiry into delays in compensation settlements for sub postmasters affected by the Horizon scandal.

The newly-formed Business and Trade Select Committee will call ministers, subpostmasters and their lawyers to give evidence next week with a second session to follow in mid-November. Shop’s licence bid rejected over illegal vapes and ‘no regard’ for children’s safety
