PZ Cussons, the house of household brands like Carex, Robb and Radiant, has announced the strengthening of its senior leadership with the appointment of Jawaz Illavia as Chief Information Officer, joining the Group’s Executive Leadership Team.

Illavia will be responsible for developing and delivering strategies for technology, digital and data across PZ Cussons. Prior to his appointment, he worked across a range of global consumer companies, within their technology and data divisions, including Reckitt, the Carlsberg Group and Walgreens Boots Alliance.

The news follows the recent appointments of Cath Bailey as Chief People Officer, Ningcy Yuliana as Managing Director, Indonesia and Oghale Elueni as Managing Director, Africa Consumer Business.

Cath Bailey brings a wealth of experience across the HR and business sector, having worked across a diverse range of global organisations, including Avon Cosmetics, Kellogg’s and Barclays. Most recently, she was Chief People Officer at Manchester Airports Group (MAG), the UK’s largest airport operator. Cath has also joined the Group’s core Executive Leadership Team.

Ningcy Yuliana joined PZ Cussons in 2011, having progressed through five senior leadership positions including Sales Director, building a strong understanding of PZ Cussons Indonesia. She is now responsible for overseeing operations and driving business growth in the Indonesian market. Ningcy will also be the first Indonesian national to lead the Indonesian business.

Oghale Elueni has worked at PZ Cussons since 2021 and prior to this was General Manager, Sub-Saharan Africa and Managing Director West Africa for SC Johnson, preceded by a series of senior leadership roles at Procter & Gamble in Africa and the US. Oghale was already a member of the Group’s Africa leadership team and now, for the first time, the Group has a Nigerian national leading its African business.

Jonathan Myers, PZ Cussons Chief Executive Officer, said, We are delighted to welcome Cath and Jawaz to our ambitious and determined Executive leadership team. Their experience across global and consumer companies will be of significant value as we continue to transform PZ Cussons and raise the bar in how we operate. As we develop our leadership team, it is great to bring in such deep external experience to complement our home-grown talent such as Ningcy and Oghale. I am excited about the chance to work with them all as we continue to drive the success of our great brands across our priority markets.”
