Quorn in new partnership with Liverpool FC

Quorn has signed a new partnership with Premier League champions Liverpool Football Club to support food sustainability.

The multi-year deal will see Quorn become the club’s Official Sustainable Protein Partner, promoting its Reds Go Green initiative.

The collaboration will provide new opportunities for supporters to choose from vegetarian and vegan foods on matchdays. The meat substitute specialist will also work with the club’s nutrition team to extend choice of healthy protein amongst its playing staff.

“As a leading provider of sustainable meat-free products in the UK, Quorn will be a key partner in the Club’s sustainability effort,” Billy Hogan, managing director and chief commercial officer at Liverpool FC, said.

“We look forward to providing a platform to help our fans, employees and playing staff make positive contributions to tackling climate change while at the same time considering their health and wellbeing.”

Phil Watson, commercial director at Quorn, added: “Our partnership with Liverpool FC is one of the biggest sports partnerships we have ever undertaken and will play a pivotal role in delivering our mission to provide food that is healthy for our families and the planet.

“We’ll be reaching tens of thousands of consumers at every home game, plus the global audience of televised games, which will result in record awareness of Quorn for shoppers on the high street.”
