Retailers earn extra cash with *shopt loyalty programme

Retailers earn extra cash with *shopt loyalty programme

*shopt, the cash rewards app for convenience retailers, is increasing the number of ways stores can earn with the introduction of its brand-new loyalty scheme. The programme, entitled “*shopt stars”, presents retailers with the ultimate opportunity to maximise their earning potential, elevating their in-app experience. From this month, retailers who have two or more approved claims each week, will be automatically entered into the loyalty scheme prize draw. By simply making two, three, or more than four approved claims, retailers could skyrocket their *shopt earnings, unlocking cash prize opportunities worth £25, £50, or an incredible £75.

The loyalty scheme aims to encourage users to engage with the app more often and incentivises retailers further, with more cash rewards helping support the day-to-day running of their store. With 81 per cent of users describing *shopt as a user-friendly app that is easy to navigate, *shopt stars as an added value addition is also designed to attract new users to the app.

“We are delighted to announce the launch of first ever loyalty scheme, *shopt stars,” said Alexa Hester, head of marketing and engagement, at *shopt. “We believe in rewarding loyalty and supporting our retailer members as best we can. Unlike traditional loyalty schemes that offer points or discounts, our programme provides retailers with the opportunity to win additional cash back via our weekly prize draws which they are entered into automatically. It was important to us to ensure the mechanic and opportunity was as straightforward as possible – the more claims retailers make on the app, the greater their chance of increasing their earnings.”

The new loyalty scheme launched on the *shopt app at the end of April, and users can be eligible for the scheme by making claims on the app. The cash rewards depend on the number of claims made and the winners for each prize draw are picked every week.
