Schweppes enters a new era with launch of premium ready-to-drink cocktail line-up

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) is bringing Schweppes’ mixer expertise to the ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktail space with the launch of Schweppes Mix – a new range of pre-mixed cocktails designed to deliver bar-quality serves in one effortless format.

Schweppes has long been a popular mixer brand for bartenders and consumers alike. Now, it’s combining premium spirits, expertly balanced flavours and Schweppes’ signature mixer quality in a sleek, single-serve can.


Launching nationwide from April, Schweppes Mix is entering the category with two distinctive serves in 250ml cans:

  • Gin Twist – a crisp, citrus-forward blend with a clean, refreshing finish
  • Paloma Bliss – a bold balance of grapefruit and tequila, delivering an authentic take on the classic serve, made with one of the world’s fastest-growing spirit

Perfect for pre-party drinks at home, where 65 per cent of ready-to-drink consumption takes place, Schweppes Mix offers a premium, flavour-led alternative to wine and prosecco – helping attract new consumers into the category with its bold taste and standout style.

The launch comes as the ready-to-drink category in GB continues to thrive, now worth £631 million and outpacing beer, wine and spirits in terms of average growth each year.

CCEP has already taken its iconic Coca-Cola (with and without sugar) and Sprite brands into the ready-to-drink category by partnering with premium spirits. Absolut Vodka & SPRITE was the number one new ready-to-drink product in 2024 while Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola Original Taste remains the number one ready-to-drink SKU in GB.

To help convenience retailers make the most of the launch, CCEP is supporting with a suite of Schweppes-branded point-of-sale kits via My.CCEP.com, all designed to maximise visibility and drive trial at the chiller.

With 82 per cent of shoppers preferring a cold drink when consuming immediately, placing Schweppes Mix in chillers throughout store will be key to success.
