Sharp’s launches new Golden Compass giveaway

Sharp’s launches new Golden Compass giveaway

Sharp’s is giving consumers the chance to win a campervan adventure as part of a new on-pack promotion this summer.

Sixteen golden compasses will be hidden inside cans of Doom Bar within promotional four- and ten-can multipacks this summer. On finding a winning can, the drinker twists it open to find the golden compass and ticket to let them know they've won the campervan adventure. This includes a week’s campervan hire for two people, as well as a £200 activities voucher, two outdoor jackets and a rucksack.

There will also be thousands of other outdoor prizes up for grabs, including electric mountain bikes, North Face rucksacks and outdoor ceramic grills, as well as Rick Stein food boxes and more than 12,000 gift cards.

As well as an eye-catching on-pack design, the promotion will be supported by in-store point-of-sale materials to raise awareness and create excitement.

The giveaway forms part of the brand’s new campaign called #InYourElement, which encourages people to explore and try new experiences to find their own element. It will run across out-of-home and digital displays, social media and video-on-demand throughout the summer.

“Our home in Cornwall inspires everything about the way we brew and our culture at Sharp’s, and our new campaign aims to capture the sense of adventure that the region is renowned for," said James Nicholls, marketing controller at Sharp’s.

“As retailers look forward to a busy summer, our giveaway will help them to attract more customers with the biggest amber ale on the market."
