Shoppers to win big with cash giveaway from BrewDog

This Spring, BrewDog is offering consumers the chance to win up to £10,000 with its latest cross-channel promotion, DRINK BEER. WIN CASH, available across grocery and convenience retail.

Special promotional packs ship out to grocery and convenience between April and June, with the competition promoted on four-packs of Punk IPA and Hazy Jane and Mixed eight and 12 packs, as well as Mixed Alcohol-Free eight-packs.


There are 22 cash prizes on offer in total, including £500, £1,000, £2,000 and £5,000, up to the top reward of £10,000. Shoppers will find out immediately if they are a successful, with the prize value stickered on winning cans and instructions on how to claim it before 30 August, when the competition closes. In the on-trade, as well as cash, prizes include free pints, win your bar tab and stays in a UK DogHouse hotel.

“As the leading craft beer supplier, we have a devoted fanbase and we want to reward our shoppers for their continued loyalty," said Chief Marketing Officer Lauren Carroll. "It’s well known that we have run competitions before, but none have been as clear as this – ‘Drink Beer. Win Cash’. It couldn’t be simpler.

“We’ve learnt our lesson, simplified the mechanic and made the prize available across all points of purchase. That means whether a consumer is in a supermarket, one of our bars or their local convenience store or pub, not only will they be able to choose their favourite craft beer, but also be in with the chance of winning up to £10,000.

“Awareness will be high, with the campaign supported in-store and outlet as well as, digital and OOH activation, to drive purchase, so we encourage retailers to ensure they have stock of promotional packs on shelf to meet consumer demand”.
