Snappy Shopper expands in Colchester with £10 off discount for new customers

Snappy Shopper expands in Colchester with £10 off discount for new customers

Popular home delivery app Snappy Shopper has announced its expansion in Colchester.

The extended coverage sees seven popular local stores in the area utilise Snappy Shopper to provide an introductory ‘£10 off your first shop’ for new customers from 26 June. The offer is funded by Snappy Shopper to allow retailers to give back to their customers.

The partnership will also see local stores given the opportunity to participate in the popular 1p bundle offerings throughout the summer to support those struggling in the current cost-of-living crisis and strengthen their positions within their local communities.

Three new stores in Colchester will join four existing stores on the platform to serve the area.

“I’m a new retailer to the Snappy Shopper platform and can’t express my excitement,” Jay, owner of Premier Connaught Convenience Store in Frinton-on-Sea, said.

“As a local community store, it’s important to me that I’m able to offer local grocery delivery to support those who can’t get out and about as easily as others, without putting a strain on their finances. Snappy Shopper allows me to do just that, with the same prices on the app as in-store.”

Having expanded in Newcastle earlier this year, Snappy Shopper said it has seen a 201 per cent increase in the number of orders and a 61 per cent increase in the number of sales within its participating stores.

Mike Callachan, Snappy Shopper chief executive, said: “Our mission is to provide affordable and convenient grocery delivery to as many customers as possible, and we are delighted to expand further in the South to meet the needs of residents with our reliable and efficient service.”
