SPAR store assistant left with dislocated shoulder after assault
Lancashire Police want to speak to this man in connection with the serious assault in Fulwood SPAR store

A shop assistant hasbeen left with a dislocated shoulder and facial injuries following a serious assault at the SPAR store in Fulwood, Lancashire.

The incident happened at the SPAR store on Woodplumpton Road at around 4.30pm on 20 July.


Officers have now released an image of a man they would like to speak in connection with the incident.

“Following extensive enquiries, we would now like your help to identify the man in this picture as we believe he may be able to help with our investigation,” Lancashire Police said in a statement.

“If you recognise him or have any information, please call 101, quoting the log number 1112 of 20th July. You can also email 8269@lancashire.police.uk.”

Two men have been arrested in connection with a series of armed robberies at convenience stores in mid-Ulster, which took place on Thursday (30).

The first incident occurred just before 7am at McCrystal’s Day-Today, a filling station on Ballinderry Bridge Road in Coagh. Two masked men, one wielding a handgun, entered the store and threatened staff, holding a weapon to one man's head before forcing him to open the till.
