STOP PRESS: Levi Boorer quits Ferrero UK, joins Ferrero HQ in Luxembourg

Levi Boorer, who has been Ferrero UK's Trade & Shopper Marketing Director since 2010, and who joined the company from Arla in 2004, has announced that he is leaving his post but not the company.

He will be relocating to Ferrero International headquarters in Niederanven, Luxembourg, to take up an as-yet unspecified new position.

"Today marks the end of 18 and a half years at Ferrero UK & Ireland which has been a fantastic journey working alongside amazing colleagues, partners and customers," he wrote on LinkedIn. "A big thank you to everyone who has supported me during my time in the UK; I've made connections I will never forget and hopefully will rekindle in the future. Our next adventure is a move to Luxembourg, to join the Ferrero global family, which provides huge opportunities for myself and the family. I'd like to take the opportunity of thanking the amazing Natalie Boorer for giving me the support to make such a big change to our lives."

Gabriele Caponcello, Ferrero International's Head of Trade and Market strategy, wrote "Levi, we will be welcoming you with open arms! Looking forward to it!"

Head of Category Management and Execution Excellence in Luxembourg, Sebastien Deflandre, added: "Congrats Levi for the great journey in Ferrero UK! And a warm welcome to casa Ferrero; I am happy we can pursue our fantastic collaboration!"

Levi's replacement in Greenford has not yet been announced.
