Sugro UK applauds wholesalers' milestones in annual conference

Buying and marketing group Sugro UK's recently concluded its Annual Conference and Networking Event saw a record-breaking turnout, celebration of wholesalers on their milestones and an unprecedented level of collaboration between members and suppliers.

The highlight of the event was the Sugro Member Anniversary Awards, where excellence in wholesale was recognised. The event celebrated Youings Wholesale Ltd for its 140th anniversary.


The event also marked the 10th anniversary of North West Wholesale Ltd, 20th anniversary of C & S Distributions and 25th anniversary of Becsco Ltd.

With over 700 meetings taking place between Sugro’s members and suppliers, the networking event showcased a wide range of high-quality products and cutting-edge industry innovations.

Attendees were introduced to the latest products, technologies, and valuable insights. Significant business was secured during the event, positioning the group for another year of impressive double-digit growth.

The two-day event commenced with a Business Conference, featuring compelling keynote speeches from Sugro's leadership team, outlining the group's key initiatives and highlighting its strategic accomplishments
over the past year as well as many fantastic industry experts such as James Bielby from the FWD, Tom Fender from TWC Group, Blonnie Whist from Lumina Intelligence, Brain McCowie from Trustkeys, George Robinson from So Sweet and Matt Bromley from Monster Energy.

Emma Senior, Managing Director at Sugro UK commented, “Our Networking Event is one of the highlights of our Calendar. With an increase of attendees and meeting numbers each year, it is fantastic to see so many members and suppliers engaging in fantastic business conversations.
