Knight, who has stores in Hassocks and Steyning, had been a Budgens retailer for 17 years but has now re-branded both stores as The Sussex Grocer.

Announcing the deal on social media, Morrisons Daily stated today (31), "What a launch we have had today! Welcome to the team David Knight with the Sussex Grocer becoming our latest Together with Morrisons partner.

"This morning has seen a heavy stream of locals making their way through the doors, with baskets with the most delicious mix of Morrisons own branded goods with truly locally sourced and supplied products. The reception has been truly exceptional.
