The Retail Data Partnership announces online trading partnership with Basket

The Retail Data Partnership is now offering retailers full access to Basket, the platform and app where stores can provide home delivery and click & collect services.

The integration with ShopMate EPoS as well means users will have access to automated full reports and stock management, making it easier to serve more customers.

With over 3,000 customers operating over 5,000 systems, TRDP also hold and analyse a significant amount of transactional data to understand emerging trends within the sector.

Easy to set up, stores can choose their products which are then all uploaded automatically with descriptions, weights and images, reducing additional administration.

Customers can then access the store through the web browser or app on any device and pay online – the simplicity makes it work well for users.

Andrew Prince, director at Basket, says: “Basket enables independent convenience retailers to compete online in an untapped market for the sector.

“They can reach customers who may previously have been relying on patchy supermarket deliveries.”

Brian Eagle-Brown, general manager for The Retail Data Partnership says: “We’re delighted to announce our full integration with Basket; we’ve worked hard to make sure that it’s as easy as possible for independent stores to get online and to help them reach new customers.”
