Trek named official snack bar partner of Saracens Rugby Club

Natural Balance Foods has announced its Trek brand has been named the official snack bar partner of Saracens Rugby Club.

At a time when the brand is in continual double-digit growth, this collaboration will help to broaden its appeal to a whole new audience of rugby enthusiasts. Protein variants added £25m to the UK snack bar market in 2022 and this is expected to increase by an estimated +6.2 per cent between 2022 and 2028 .


To date, Trek’s retail sales value has risen to £23.3m, a +26.4 per cent growth YOY, whilst penetration has climbed +9.7 per cent YOY.

Trek’s protein portfolio "is packed with plant-based soy protein, for natural energy and lasting fullness". The bars contain no artificial ingredients and are 100 per cent plant-based, vegan and gluten-free, with popular flavour combinations such as Salted Caramel, Millionaire Shortbread and Peanut Butter, Flapjacks with 9g protein and high-protein Power Bars with 15g protein.

Trek will be fuelling the Saracens squad throughout the rest of the season with its nutritious Protein Flapjacks and Power bars. The brand will be joining fans to cheer the team on, with branding on the back of the team’s shorts and across game day social media content.
