Unisnacks recalls Lotte Pepero Snowy Almond over undeclared allergen

Unisnacks Europe Limited, a leading importer and distributor of Asian and oriental confectionery, snacks, beverages and food ingredients in the UK, has issued a recall for Lotte Pepero Snowy Almond because it contains peanuts which are not mentioned on the label.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to peanuts.

The packs (size: 32g) with best before dates 01 May 2023 and 02 May 2023 have been affected.

Unisnacks has issued a point-of-sale notice, telling its customers to not it the product if they have allergy, intolerance or sensitivity to peanuts. They can return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.

The company added that it will be contacting the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.
