Unitas brings in Andy Stubley from Booker as licensed strategy manager

Unitas Wholesalehas has strengthened its trading team with the appointment of Andy Stubley to the newly created role of licensed strategy manager.

Stubley will be responsible for a number of strategic projects including the development of the group’s licensed strategy and will predominantly focus on the development of the Unitas On Trade strategy.


He brings with him a wealth of experience gained in various roles across the licensed sector in organisations such as Scottish and Newcastle and most latterly holding the position of category manager (cider, keg and ales) for Booker Wholesale.

He has also developed and managed his own pub and off license businesses.

John Kinney, managing director of Unitas Wholesale said: “I am delighted to welcome Andy to Unitas at such an important time in our development as we continue to re-shape Unitas. Andy will be an excellent addition to our business and has the skills and experience that we are looking for to develop our licensed offerand specifically our On Trade strategy”

Stubley will join Unitas Wholesale 28 November.
