Unitas launches new category guide on baby care

Unitas Wholesale has launched a new Focus On guidance on the Baby Care category in partnership with DCS – P&G.

The series of ‘Focus On’ mini category guides by Plan for Profit covers emerging and established categories that typically feature in an independent convenience store, and now includes a total of 15 category guides, all available to view at www.planforprofit.co.uk.


The newly launched edition of Focus On includes key insights, planograms and best sellers information to help independent retailers grow sales across this key category in store.

“In this edition we highlight the importance to independent retailers of getting all areas of their baby care category right, helping them to quickly check that they are stocking the brand leaders which is a must to fully engage with the baby care shopper and prevent lost sales,” Tracey Redfearn, Plan for Profit category controller, explained.

“These key brands account for the majority of baby care category sales in independent convenience.”

Unitas Wholesale said it will be launching more ‘Focus On’ guides throughout 2021 with printed copies available in selected member depots. Digital versions are available to view and download via the Plan for Profit website and app.
