The series of "Focus On" mini category guides by Plan for Profit covers emerging and established categories that typically feature in an independent convenience store, and now includes 12 guides, all available to view at www.planforprofit.co.uk.

Unitas Wholesale has partnered with P&G and KP snacks to provide new Focus On guidance on the personal care and crisps, snacks and nuts (CSN) categories, respectively.

The newly launched editions include key insights, planograms and best-seller information to help independent retailers grow their category sales in-store.

Plan for Profit Category Controller, Tracey Redfearn, explained further how the mini category guidance can help independent retailers: "We now have 12 Focus On mini category guides covering a wide range of grocery, impulse and licensed categories to complement our recently published 2021 Plan for Profit core range guides," she said.

"Both the personal care and CSN categories are growing in the independent convenience channel and the new Focus On guidance provides expert advice for independent retailers that want to understand each in more detail to maximise the opportunities in your store”

Unitas Wholesale will be launching more Focus On guides throughout 2021, with printed copies available in selected Unitas Wholesale member depots. Digital versions are available to view and download via the Plan for Profit website and app (search ‘Plan for Profit’ to download the app from your preferred app store).
