Working with its supplier partners, Unitas Wholesale has developed a suite of 19 Focus On mini category guides to help independent retailers develop specific categories in their store.

FOCUS ON CHRISTMAS COFNECTIONERY AND BISCUITS

Independent retailers can now benefit from even more in-depth category guidance through the Focus On by Plan for Profit series, with new guidance on the confectionery multipacks category and the opportunities that the Big Night In occasion, and Christmas confectionery & biscuits category presents.

Plan for Profit category controller Tracey Redfearn highlights how the newly launched editions of Focus On can help independent retailers:

FOCUS ON CONFECTIONERY MULTIPACKS

Confectionery multipacks have grown by 24 per cent in the last five years, in-home eating occasions have risen by 60 per cent due to the Covid restrictions, and consumers are expected to spend even more on Christmas related confectionery & biscuits in 2021," she says.

"Each of the three new editions give context to the opportunities that these areas of focus present to independent convenience retailers, while providing key advice on the best sellers, core range and merchandising to help them maximise sales and grow their categories in store.”

The Focus On series of category guides is available to view and download at www.planforprofit.co.uk. Digital versions are available to view and download via the Plan for Profit website and app, search "Plan for Profit" to download the app from your preferred app store.
