The sandwiches will also be draped in gloriously patriotic Union Jack packaging to ensure shoppers can easily spot the limited-edition treats amongst the crowd. Available throughout forecourts, convenience, education and contract catering retailers, the Coronation range will be supported by at-fixture POS, store posters and social media activity.

“With such a historic event just around the corner, it’s only appropriate that we help the UK celebrate with a special lunchtime treat," said Abigail Nelson-Ehoff, Brand Manager, Urban Eat.

“Not only that, the Food to Go category has gone from strength to strength in recent months and we expect this to increase further as the weather warms up and more people are out and about. We’d therefore encourage customers to see in a new era of history and make the most of increased footfall by stocking up – and enjoying majestic sales as a result!”

Operators can stock up on the Urban Eat Coronation range by contacting the Fresh Food For Now Company sales team on 0116 236 1640 or email hello@foodfornow.co.uk.
