VK opens the VK Flavour Vault

VK RTDs have opened the doors to their exclusive flavour development lab – the all-new VK Flavour Vault - giving fans the chance to try limited-edition flavours ahead of their release.

The VK Flavour Vault celebrates the range of exciting and limited edition VK flavours on offer, as 42 per cent of VK fans state the range of VK flavours is what appeals to them the most (DIGIN Survey Data October 2022). More than half of VK’s volume is from flavours other than VK Blue, across both the off trade and on trade.

Only those who are subscribed to VK emails will be invited to enter the competition. The doors to the vault are open for one week, and 20 winners will then be randomly selected to receive a special delivery of the brand-new limited edition summer flavour.

Hopefuls must be quick as the competition will be open from 15 – 21 May with winners receiving the exclusive new summer flavour in the following days. Those who enter the competition will also be entered into draws for future flavour releases.

For the chance to win future releases from the VK Flavour Vault, entrants must subscribe to VK Official emails here.

Email subscribers also receive information about VK competitions, giveaways, and merch drops.

“We are so excited to open the doors to the VK Flavour Vault, the home of our flavour creation," said Charlie Leaver, Head of Brand at Global Brands. "We’ve championed flavour at VK since its inception, with a variety of limited-edition releases yearly, and flavourful additions to the core range including the new VK & SODA.

“Celebrate the launch of our next limited-edition release by entering the VK Flavour Vault, and having the chance to try our summer flavour before anyone else!”

Earlier this year, VK launched VK & SODA Berries and VK & SODA Lime in the on-trade, and recently launched in the off-trade. Last year, VK collaborated with Schuh to launch VK Ultra Violet in the summer and released VK Candy Cane in November.

Nothing is more important than your Mental Elf

Lancashire Mind’s 11th Mental Elf fun run was its biggest and best yet – a sell-out event with more than 400 people running and walking in aid of the mental charity, plus dozens more volunteering to make the day a huge success.

The winter sun shone on Worden Park in Leyland as families gathered for either a 5K course, a 2K run, or a Challenge Yours’Elf distance which saw many people running 10K with the usual running gear replaced with jazzy elf leggings, tinsel and Christmas hats.
