Warburtons diversifies range with two new launches

Warburtons diversifies range with two new launches

This week Warburtons, Britain’s largest bakery brand, continues to expand and diversify its ranges launching two new products: 21 Seeds & Grains Thin Bagels and Gluten Free Cinnamon & Raisin Sliced Fruity Buns.

Expanding the successful Thin Bagel range, Warburtons is introducing a fourth product: 21 Seeds & Grains Thin Bagels. Packed full of flavour the thin bagels include sunflower seeds, brown linseed, jumbo oats, malted rye flakes, sesame seeds and more. The bagels are boiled then baked for authentic taste and texture, and pre-sliced for convenience, are a source of fibre and come in at just 147 calories each.

21 Seeds & Grains Thin Bagels (four pack) will have an RRP of £1.79, in line with the rest of the range, and are exclusively available at Tesco from 9 January before being launched into other retailers including Morrisons and Amazon.

Expanding Warburtons’ Gluten Free range, the bakery brand is introducing Cinnamon & Raisin Fruity Buns. The four pack of buns uses a brioche base, flavoured with cinnamon, mixed spices and caramelised sugar to give them their unique taste. The buns, which can be enjoyed both toasted and untoasted, are gluten, wheat and milk free.

The product will be baked in Warburtons’ dedicated gluten free bakery by specialist bakers and demonstrates the brands’ continued commitment to investing in its gluten free range.

The Gluten Free Cinnamon & Raisin Sliced Fruity Buns will be on shelves in Sainsbury’s, Co-op and Ocado from 11th January with an RRP of £2.90, they will then be available in Asda, Tesco and Morrisons later this month.

The new products complement Warburtons’ ever-growing range which continues to adapt to meet consumer demands. Products will also be available to buy direct via the Warburtons website and have an RRP of £3. Those using the app will also have access to bundle deals, a loyalty scheme and free product giveaways; for example, during the first two weeks of sale, a free sample will be available with every order.

Jonathan Warburton, Chairman of Warburtons, said: “Consumers are always looking for new ways to make mealtimes more exciting so we’re really pleased to launch these two fantastic new products. Thin Bagels have become incredibly popular since we launched them in 2015, and there is a great deal of growth still to come. The new 21 Seeds & Grains products are a source of fibre and great for those looking for a lighter alternative to standard bagels.

“We also know that gluten free consumers are always looking for new and exciting products that are high in quality and taste great. Our specialist Gluten Free bakers have created just that as these fruity buns offer something completely new in the GF market – sweet and delicious, toasted and topped with butter!”
