Webbox unveils festive new look

Webbox unveils festive new look

Fast-growing pet brand Webbox has launched a fresh new look for their 2022 festive range, designed to make a huge impact on shelf.

The brand noted the category at Christmas time holds a fantastic opportunity, with Kantar data showing that the season brings an impressive 7 per cent of additional shoppers into pet. This provides an opportunity to convert additional shoppers with seasonal pet goods and gifts as the humanisation trend continues and pets are included in festive celebrations.

The new, vibrant design complements the packaging for the core, colourful Webbox product range to help shoppers make a stronger connection between the everyday favourites from the brand, and the festive range.

The design takes a playful approach, celebrating joy in every moment, featuring illustrations of cats and dogs in joyful, mischievous situations that pets may find themselves in at Christmas time, such as tugging on tinsel and pawing at baubles.

Julie Butcher, head of marketing at Webbox, commented: “We’re really excited to launch our new look festive range for 2022, as an established seasonally responsive brand, our festive products have continuously performed well during the festive period and this vibrant new design gives the brand an opportunity to stand out more significantly on shelf to entice and excite shoppers - as well as raising a smile!”

The new look festive range contains proven favourites such as Lick-e-Lix and Tasty Sticks with Turkey and Cranberry and a Turkey Festive Mousse tin for cats, and Chub Roll, Tasty Sticks and Chomping Chews with Turkey and Cranberry for dogs, plus some exciting new additions to the range.

Butcher continued: “The new products within the range includes a variety of additional gifting options such as our Christmas Eve Box for dogs in a fun kennel shape, a Christmas Eve Cracker for cats as well as the addition of advent calendars for both cats and dogs so that pets can join in the full festive fun with the rest of the family.

“With Christmas gifting attracting additional shoppers to the category and a great opportunity for incremental sales, this was a key priority for us in establishing our offering for 2022 as non-pet owners look to buy gifts for the pets of family and friends at Christmas time. Humanisation has been a key trend in Pet for a number of years, and our enhanced festive offering really allows for pets to be treated as part of the family.”

In addition to food and treats, Webbox also offer a selection of fun festive toys. From Christmas classics to some more quirky characters, the toy range for dogs and cats has something to appeal to every shopper and keep the furry friends entertained over the festive season.
