Westons Cider announces biggest on-pack promotion for bestselling Henry Westons range

Westons Cider, the UK’s leading authentic cider maker, is launching its biggest ever on-pack promotion across its bestselling Henry Westons range in a profit-boosting move for retailers.

Now in its eighth year, the promotion is proven to drive sales and generate incredible customer engagement, with more than 144,000 entries from across the country last year.


Following that success, the cider maker is now making the on-pack available through all retail channels in the UK. With three times as many opportunities to win, 11 million promotional bottles and multipacks will hit the market from April to August.

Winners can expect everything from Henry Westons merchandise, to cash prizes up to £1,000 and exclusive money-can’t-buy "Henry Westons Vintage Moments" packages. Shoppers will be in with a chance to win prizes every day to celebrate and elevate the everyday with their loved ones throughout the summer, including the ultimate BBQ, days out with a luxury picnic, or a outdoor cinema set up in their very own garden.

Tapping into the growing interest in authentic, crafted cider, the Henry Westons range is the UK’s fastest growing off trade cider brand, worth £77.6M (+11.1 per cent). The thriving crafted segment itself is going from strength to strength (+10.2 per cent) with Henry Westons Vintage – the world’s most popular vintage cider – leading the charge. In the convenience channel, crafted cider sales increased by almost a quarter last year alone.

“Henry Westons continues to shine in our portfolio – both at home and across the world thanks to its clear heritage and crafted credentials,” explains Holly Chadwick, Henry Westons Brand Manager at Westons Cider.

“In fact, more than one bottle of Henry Westons Vintage is sold every second in retail. So, with warmer weather on the way, and a flurry of Bank Holidays on the horizon, now is the perfect opportunity to promote the range giving back to our fans and helping retailers boost their profit margins throughout the all-important summer months.”

In addition to Henry Westons Vintage, the promotion will run across Henry Westons Organic, Henry Westons British Vintage, Henry Westons Cloudy Vintage, Henry Westons Signature Vintage, Henry Westons Vintage Rosé in 500ml bottles and all 4, 6 and 8 packs, as well as the Organic 3L bag-in-box.
