Wolf Blass to release limited edition ‘House of the Dragon’ wine

Treasury Wine Estates’ award-winning premium wine brand Wolf Blass has announced a limited-edition wine, set for launch in August, coinciding with the premiere of the hotly anticipated HBO series House of the Dragon.

Launching in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, the meticulously crafted Wolf Blass’ Fire & Blood Cabernet Shiraz - a deliciously fiery, high quality, classic Australian red blend wine available in three three striking labels - is all set to take the fans back to into the World of Westeros.

The show is a prequel to Game of Thrones, one of the most-watched TV series in history.

“This is a first for Wolf Blass. The partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Product, and the extensive programme of marketing we are delivering to support the launch, is demonstrative of the already high status of the brand and our even higher ambitions for Wolf Blass in the UK,” Ben Blake, Head of Marketing EMEA at Treasury Wine Estates, said.

“The quality of the wine is exceptional & the three unique labels are very striking, no doubt Wolf Blass’ Fire & Blood Cabernet Shiraz will be a blockbuster with consumers, regardless of whether they are returning Game of Thrones fans or tuning in to the franchise for the first time.”

Julian Moon, Senior Vice President, Warner Bros. Consumer Products EMEA, added: “We wanted to bring fans of the Game of Thrones franchise a wine aligned with the world of Westeros and with the anticipated premiere of House of the Dragon this summer, we knew this was the perfect time for such a wine. Wolf Blass has made something truly special, and we know fans will enjoy sipping Wolf Blass’ Fire & Blood Cabernet Shiraz while tuning in to House of the Dragon this August.”

Wolf Blass’ Fire & Blood Cabernet Shiraz (RRP £13-15) will be available nationwide in major UK retailers in August with House of the Dragon to air globally on 22 August on Sky Atlantic in the UK.
