World of Sweets reveals Back to School range

Leading confectionery distributor World of Sweets is encouraging retailers to stock up on exciting back to school products.

A must have for this year's back to school season are the new Zed Candy Screamers Dip & Lick.


The Screamers Dip & Lick consist of two candy sticks in a tasty blue razz and cherry flavour, accompanied by three sour powder dips, sour apple, sour strawberry and sour lemon.

This novelty sweet has a RRP of 50p making it perfect pocket money value for back to school season.

The new product from Zed Candy comes after the success of Big Lick Blue & Purple Razz. Since the launch in April, Big Lick has achieved a £614,000 retail sales value.

Another back to school novelty product from Zed Candy is the Brain Sucker Lollipop. This large lollipop consists of sour powder and has a yummy bubblegum centre, RRP 69p.

Also new for back to school season this August are the Warhead Wedgies Theatre Box with a RRP of £2.50.

These wedge shaped chewy sweets are filled with a fun fruity inside and a sour coating. New flavour combinations include Watermelon Punch, Pink Lemonade and Cherry Limeade.

Also available in the popular theatre box format are Tootsie Sour DOTS. Tootsie Dots are the number one selling gumdrop brand in America and come in an array of sour flavours including grape, lemon orange and cherry.

American candy is a great way to offer customers something different and get them excited.

Nerds Candy in watermelon and cherry is a top selling product in America and has a RRP of £1.29. These tangy and crunchy sweets are bursting with flavour and are becoming a much loved product here in the UK.

Sour Punch Mini Bites are another fun American sweet for kids that are packed with flavour. These sweets consist of strawberry, apple and blue raspberry flavours all of which are covered in a super sour coating that packs a punch.

Novelty products are another must stock during back to school season as they’re a favourite amongst kids and make a great impulse purchase.

New novelty products to consider stocking include the Crazy Candy Factory Shakeez Lollipop.

This fun strawberry flavoured lollipop consists of candy sweets inside - simply lick, shake and enjoy!

The new Ninja Turtles Surprise Eggs will also be popular amongst younger customers and has a collectable toy surprise inside, a must have for any Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan.

The new Looney Tunes licence character mix from global confectionery brand Pez, are another great novelty product. This nostalgic product has four characters to collect making it a great repeat purchase.
