YAZOO Choc Mint returns due to popular demand

YAZOO Choc Mint returns due to popular demand

YAZOO is bringing a burst of freshness back to UK stores as YAZOO Choc Mint returns to shelves nationwide. Previously available as a limited-edition, Choc Mint flavour was a hit with shoppers and demand has driven its return to the range with a consumer-driven bottle design increasing visibility in-store.

The fan favourite variant will be available in standard and price-marked packs of 400ml in convenience and wholesale from the start of February, with an additional one-litre larger pack also available from early March.

The latest limited-edition release pack builds on last year’s successful "Find a Designer" social media campaign. 2022’s winner, up-and-coming artist and illustrator Tomas Dogg was tasked with co-creating the limited-edition artwork, complete with input from YAZOO fans around the UK. This resulted in a truly collaborative, engaging, and eye-catching pack design, which stood out brilliantly in-store, making it an absolute must stock for retailers and perfectly aligned to the brand proposition of ‘shaking up the mundane’.

In 2023, YAZOO has once again teamed up with Tomas to create another random YAZOO pack, set to further boost brand visibility in stores.

As part of the brand’s on-going sustainability commitments, all YAZOO bottles are manufactured from 100 per cent recycled PET and feature an easily peel-able sleeve to make removal and accurate kerbside recycling even easier. Additionally, all the cocoa used in YAZOO’s chocolate products has also been certified by the Rainforest Alliance.

“We’re into our sixth year of limited-edition launches," said Maren Fuhrich, Brand Manager at YAZOO, "and we’re thrilled to bring back YAZOO Choc Mint by popular demand! Our consumer-led pack design was really well-received last year and we’re looking forward to creating even more fun, positivity, and engagement with our audience, especially as the world today brings challenging times for many consumers. YAZOO is an affordable, refreshing treat that everyone can enjoy at any time.”

“Choc Mint was a huge hit with YAZOO fans when it first launched. It sold the most volume out of home of all our limited-edition flavours and we know it attracts up to 30 per cent incremental shoppers and purchases across the category. As market leader, we also know that when we introduce innovation, we drive the category overall, and we’re sure that Choc Mint will be another hit with shoppers and retailers alike.”

The new flavour will be supported by a fully integrated marketing campaign which includes print and digital advertising, social media support, competitions, and in-store activations.

RRP: £2.20 for 2x 400ml bottles
